The Escape Room Returns
Get ready to put your problem-solving skills and teamwork to the test at the IDWeek escape room. Inspired by classic escape room games, this activity blends immersive storytelling, collaboration and infectious diseases-focused content for an engaging and memorable conference experience.
After its overwhelming success at previous IDWeek meetings, the escape room is returning for IDWeek 2026 in Washington, D.C. — stay tuned for more details and opportunities to sign up as the meeting approaches.
IDBugBowl Is Back!
The Jeopardy-style quiz game will be presented at IDWeek 2026 in Washington, D.C., at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Each team should consist of three members: One current fellow (adult or pediatric ID) and one current resident are required; the third team member may be a fellow, resident or medical student. IDWeek will pay full conference registration for the student, resident and fellow team participants, but travel expenses will not be covered. IDBugBowl will be held live, and teams must appear in person.
